Welcome to the Worship pathway of the D’ART Collective. This module is designed to help address some of the staggering statistics in America today around church engagement and Christian worship. 36% fewer Americans attend church weekly now than in 1993. Only 25% of Americans are practicing Christians, which is down nearly half since 2000. And, 29% of pastors are considering stepping away from full-time ministry.

The D’ART Collective seeks to strengthen the ministry of Christians, pastors, and church leaders to harness the power of technology and the appeal of the arts to draw youth, the religiously unaffiliated, and those who have become apathetic and unconnected to the Christian faith. Within the realm of worship and arts, here are some practices and programs that the church may employ in order to engage those who remain active in their Christian faith to reach those who may not be.

Admittedly, I do not have all of the answers, but I humbly present a set of ideas that will help you get the wheels turning as you read through this module. I encourage you to embrace the ideas that come to you, as they may be the best innovations for your setting. Feel free to take any of these ideas and craft them to work well in your own context.

This module begins with an explanation of the basic essentials for modern ministry then explores unique opportunities that may be used to make an impact in your community.
